This is a great local game store. They had a massive variety of TCGs, including some games that I had not heard of. Tons of magic the gathering, even obscure stuff I hadnt seen before. Lots of set options for booster packs and many commander precons. Great selection of singles as well. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, lots of tables to play at. Had some very cool pinball machines as well!

This is one of the best stores in Iowa. They let the players choose what they want to play, know how to keep politics out of business, keep their store clean, and always have my orders ready on Friday when I come in. This is the definition of "build it and they will come". Couldn't ask for a better place to have in my back yard. If you need an escape from the insanity of daily life, come on in and play a game. You'll have plenty of choices.

A gem of a store! Friendly and helpful staff (Moose and Corby are incredible), a lively atmosphere, and well-attended weekly events for MTG and other trading card games. An anchor of nerd culture in the corridor, and I always stop through when I'm in CR.

First Turn Games is a smaller shop, but it’s packed with board games, Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, Warhammer: The Old World, and Dungeons & Dragons books. They also have painted and unpainted miniatures, plus Citadel and Army Painter paints in stock. The staff is friendly and even offered to demo a board game. Great local shop with a big selection!
